Dump Truck Party

My little guy just turned 2 and to celebrate I knew I had to go with Peanut's favorite thing in the world right now. I followed an orange yellow and brown theme which was inspired by my little guys Dump Truck and Reeses pieces.  Invitations were delivered to each guest's porch with the party details on the back.

I have made Birthday banners each year (I know only two so far) but I hope to keep up the tradition.  For some reason a birthday banner on the wall just seems to make everything more festive

I have to thank Sarah at Style me Gorgeous for the cake idea which ended up being a big hit and received the most compliments. A vanilla cake with chocolate genache filling and buttercream frosting.   Complete with dump truck and broken up candy bars to resemble falling boulders. Such a yummy combination.

I made gift buckets with lots of goodies, hard hats and cute construction cone drinking cups.  My local Home Depot provided free kids aprons and wood working kits which went along with the theme perfectly

And of course no party is complete without homemade cookies and chocolates!
